6th May 2007 Windsurfing: WSM Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F3-5 Surf / Sea State: Weston mess Air Temperature: 14C Sea Temperature: cool'ish Weather: Sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Never seem to be able to afford the time to get out much these days :( so this was my 1st time on the water since Jan. Remarkably few windsurfers - where are they all? Wind was pretty up & down, but 6.2m was about spot on. Board becoming a bit bouncy but wouldn't have wanted anything smaller with all the lulls. Would have been a 4 star day, but for the fact that the wind picked up & I was well overpowered, heading back in to call it a day, when I got flung over the bars - the mast cracking open the nose of the board. Bugger. Nothing unrepairable, but finding the time is going to be tough! |
